[Hello Somarium. It's been a while. Bear witness to a very put-together looking young boy, perhaps about 14-years-old, hair falling over one side of his face, barely obscuring the black eyepatch. He's wearing an appropriate autumn suit, obviously a bit dated (late 1800's) but still sharp looking. He clears his throat, then faces the camera squarely, and when he speaks, it's with a British accent.]

Good Afternoon, residents of Somarium. I wished to apologize for my absence, and any inconvenience my condition may have caused to anyone who wished to speak with me. Sebastian has assured me you were all seen to, so I hope there are no hard feelings. Should anyone wish, I would be happy to make accommodations for anyone who wishes to come calling.

[Then, he hold up an envelope, and does his best to look congenial] Edward, I received the note you left. If it's tea you wish, I'll have Sebastian make the arrangements.

[A grin; his energy is quite endless and it would be hard to make him stop smiling, really]

[A Lord, is he? Well, he's not like any of the lords Ciel has known.. but then, to be fair, he never spent much time with those his own age.]

[It was quite interesting. To meet another member of nobility that was his age; if not slightly younger than him. So you'd have to forgive him if he doesn't entirely act like a 'proper' noble.

After all, Ciel's been one of the first he's met outside people he knows back home.]

[A nod of his head and he considers something that occurs to him again, the question slipping out this time before he can stop himself] Feel free not to answer this, but... how old are you?

You don't seem like you're too much younger than I am..

[He does pause at the age question though. He doesn't get that one very often, not since his parents -- now that he is the Earl, it's probably never seemed appropriate.

There's also the fact that, considering Somarium's odd way of handling time... he's not entirely certain of his age. But, he's not about to waffle over numbers.]

Accounting for Somarium's... irregularity of time, relative to when I last recall home, I'll be Fifteen this winter. [ ...has it been that long...?]

[Glad that Ciel wasn't going to stay so formal, it was the answer to his question that was enough to earn a little bit of a surprised look.

So they really were closer in age than he'd first initially thought.]

That about makes us the same age~!

[Easily entertained, isn't he? Well, Ciel has never known many his own age... And then again, that Indian prince was 17 when they met, and even Oz seemed a little more grounded that that guy...]

Is that so. [ Ciel definitely does look his age-- he's small, slender, and rather baby-face. ] is that some matter of importance to you? [ he's trying to be sociable, really]

I mean... I don't ever get to spend time with other nobles my age so this is actually quite exciting for me.

[A pause lingers and he gets an idea in an instance] If you do have time, would it be possible to meet over tea so we can talk in person?

I suppose that could be arranged. Although my schedule is filled for this afternoon and tomorrow evening. Is there any time you'd prefer?
