[When Ciel appears on the screen, he look far from pleased -- his expression, noteably more sour than usual, is emphasized by the slightly unkempt hair that makes him look as though he's just rolled out of bed. The kid apparenlty is also incapable of dressing himself; his shirt is buttoned crooked, and his thin bow tie, is more of a knot than a bow.]

Has anyone seen my butler? He's mysteriously absent as of this morning, and I've been unable to contact him.

Certainly. [A nod. Concerned as she is... she supposes that is enough prodding for now.]

Otherwise, are you well, Master Ciel?

As well as I have been, since coming to this place. I feel as though I'm treading water. There's so much more I should be attending to, but I don't have the means while I'm here. [A long-suffering sigh] I just hope the servants haven't razed the manor to the ground in my absence.

Hmm...? Has no one informed you, Master Ciel? Time does not pass in our home worlds after we have left.

[For a moment, he's struck dumb. The look of surprise is quite obvious, if not subtle -- Ciel's not a particularly expressive child in the general sense.] ...What? But how would anyone know that for a fact?

As I had said, it is possible for one to leave Somarium and then promptly return some time later. While in most cases people do not recall their time in Somarium, some of them do and they also retain memories from home that they experience in their time away.

It's a rather curious thing, but I would not dare to speak such an untruth.
