[Hello Somarium. It's been a while. Bear witness to a very put-together looking young boy, perhaps about 14-years-old, hair falling over one side of his face, barely obscuring the black eyepatch. He's wearing an appropriate autumn suit, obviously a bit dated (late 1800's) but still sharp looking. He clears his throat, then faces the camera squarely, and when he speaks, it's with a British accent.]

Good Afternoon, residents of Somarium. I wished to apologize for my absence, and any inconvenience my condition may have caused to anyone who wished to speak with me. Sebastian has assured me you were all seen to, so I hope there are no hard feelings. Should anyone wish, I would be happy to make accommodations for anyone who wishes to come calling.

[Then, he hold up an envelope, and does his best to look congenial] Edward, I received the note you left. If it's tea you wish, I'll have Sebastian make the arrangements.

Well, I have no reason to worry about such things. My Butler is quite competent, and would never allow anything to go amiss.

[All this 'we' business... he doesn't hear many people talk that, and is quite tempted to ask if she has a mouse in her pocket-- But then he pauses, wondering if there's something to it. but he'll leave that for later. She does seem vaguely familiar, as if he's seen her before...]

I do have a number of people who seem interested in keeping up with me. Although my family name carries no weight here, apparently people can still appreciate a noble upbringing.

At least since my Grandfather's time, the Phantomhives have served her Majesty the Queen, but only my father's sister, and myself remain.

We have come to the understand there is a good deal of time passed but merely telling Us your family served a queen does Us little good, Earl Phantomhive. [Her voice is... gentle though. She has always been kinder to children.]

[Ciel doesn't quite appreciate the tone as she may have hoped. But, he will indulge her.] currently seated on the throne is Her Majesty Queen Victoria, and has been since she was crowned in 1837. Prior to that, I'm afraid whom exactly they served is somewhat irrelevant to me.

[1589... That's 300 past! And now the pieces are beginning to fall together. He may not know extensive history, but he does realize where he recognizes this woman from; a portrait.]

[Bloody Hell. Forgive him as he loses a bit of composure, and is a bit fumble-y. True, she may not be his Queen, but she's still a Queen of England. He's basically obligated to bow and scrape. So, he does manage to give as much of a bow as one can on this thing, via video. ]
